Bubble Wrap, Embroidery

4 panels- 12' x 1'

This piece is about my Mother’s childhood in Taiwan and how much of a culture a family can take with them as the migrate across borders.

I was happy that from a distance the bubble wrap could have been mistaken for a gauzy fabric.

In the future I plan to add another 20' of bubble wrap to the bottom of each panel so that they heap onto the floor.
